Adam's snaps
"As ususally" or "how it goes", children are interested in whatever their parents do. So do our little ones, and we find it more and more
difficult to save our photographic equipment, even having the courage to pick it up from a closet (well, honestly, one of
our cameras is always prepared on shelf). Until now (January 2012) this pile of hardware is more of an interest for Adam, and we can only hope Martina
won't speed up her knowledge as she does with her muscles now.
It started with innocent looks full of curiosity, followed by secret touches and bothersome questions (and Adam surely knows how to
place questions!) all aimed at one target - HOW TO GET IT INTO HIS HANDS. Except for a few occasions he is not allowed to touch our RTS nor G Contaxes,
never mention lenses. On the other hand, he freely uses our digital Mju (yes, we do have a digital camera! Radka uses it when selling stuff over internet...).
And lastly we followed an educational path "buying a film, arming a camera, shooting and finally developing". Victim was my old Praktica.
We will make any prints in a far, far future, since even those two hours of mixing developer/fixer and handling film was topping my abilities
(but again first film in a few years!!!). When we asked Adam what caught his attention that day, he replied "skiing". So photographic hobby has to
wait somehow :-D
Below you can see some of his snaps - mine selection. When I find some lazy afternoon (haha), I will ask him about his best of.
First batch is from beforementioned Olympus and surely Adam made quite a number of snaps! Moreover, he becomes better and better... there are also
some snaps in memory of an old cell phone I bought for him over the eBay (so he has the same as Bob the builder posses). So far I haven't figured out how to move them to my PC.
Lets start with people - here we take a lunch

This section contains results of our photo task, i.e. pursue Praktica to make some usable results... it appears old
Agfa Rodinal I had in a closet is still ok (I had to use clamp and wrench to open the bottle), fixer with some curious
white crystals inside also worked. Only the shutter or exposure metering seems to be off sometimes, quite a number of snaps
was overexposed (no, I didn't help it either, B100 has aperture auto only plus ISO shift). Results are about the same I remember
since the old times, so I didn't get excited about that camera and let Adam to continue using it (not mention I aquired an old-like-new
Minolta with several lenses for a few bucks and I have a camera to carry in my car)
